Many of Western’s GBSV efforts and initiatives are guided by 39 recommendations put forward in two reports from spring 2022:
- Promoting Transformative Change at Western: Report of the Action Committee on Gender-Based Sexual Violence
- Independent Review of Western Policies, Procedures and Processes related to the events on campus of Sept. 10 & 11, 2021
The work to advance the implementation of the recommendations in these reports has involved tremendous collaboration and initiative across campus and beyond, led by the GBSV Advisory Committee.
